Sharing Our Expertise
When the Home Builders Association asked for our help to fill in at an education session, we didn’t hesitate. This advocacy group promotes the needs of residential builders. One major tenet is member education. The HBA’s Essential Building Skills course includes introductory sessions in ten fields pertaining to homebuilding. Our own Cameron Thayer, AIA, instructed the architecture course this fall for the certificate program. He introduced designs, construction documents, and plot plans with relevance to codes and concerns unique to the region.
