City of Austin offers online permits
The City of Austin now offers ePLAN Review permit filing system for residential projects. This online submittal is designed to streamline and organize the plan review, payment, and approval processes. This would minimize or eliminate trips to the Development Services Department. The city’s aim is to stop accepting paper permits as soon as April.

You can also check out some of the monthly information sessions the 1st Wednesday in seminars at One Texas Center, Room 325 or the 3rd Thursday webinars. They specify software, file and upload requirements which will affect how we format and send our plans to you.
