Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Center
The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. They believe that every child has the ability to succeed and thrive in life.
When we were contacted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas, they had several offices throughout Austin but wanted everything centralized at one facility. KFA designed the preliminary design and exterior façade of the mentoring center, which will include the offices for BBBS staff, conference rooms, youth activity areas, a community resource area, and volunteer training rooms. The desired goal is to provide a fun, safe place where Bigs and Littles can enrich their match by spending time together and interacting with BBBS staff.
